Paintings by A Doodson

We were contacted in January 2011 by a nice lady in Cumbria regarding a couple of paintings, both signed "A. Doodson".  We've not been able to work out which particular "A. Doodson" painted them, so does anyone out there recognise them?   UPDATE:  Still no identification, but another painting is owned by Joe E.  Here's his picture:

Here's what we know about them from Hilary, who owns these fine pictures: Both oil on board paintings of the Lake District (one Derwentwater the other not sure). Rear backing board dated as being framed by the Co-operative Picture Framing Factory in Newcastle in 1935.  There is another mark that looks like Wyn. The painting board itself is marked as having come from Winders, Great Moor Street, Bolton.

Unknown view, but seems likely to be in the Lake District.
